Accessibility Statement
Effective date: 14 April 2026 | Last reviewed: 14 April 2026
Our commitment
We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target standard. We recognise that as a business supplying technology to public sector bodies — who are themselves subject to accessibility legislation — it is important that our own digital presence meets a high standard.
Target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
We review our website regularly and are committed to addressing accessibility issues as they are identified.
How accessible this website is
We have reviewed our website and can report the following on its current state of accessibility:
Known limitations
We are aware that some parts of our website may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. These currently include:
- Some images and technical diagrams may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text
- Video content demonstrating our systems may not yet include captions or audio descriptions
- Some interactive navigation elements may not be fully operable by keyboard alone
- Certain areas of the site may not yet meet the required WCAG AA colour contrast ratios
We are actively working to address each of these. If you encounter a problem not listed here, please let us know.
Accessibility and our public sector audience
Public sector suppliers
Tektrans supplies technology and managed services to local authorities, councils and other public sector bodies that are themselves subject to the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations. We understand that accessibility standards are a core expectation for public sector procurement, and we take our own accessibility obligations seriously as a reflection of the values we bring to those partnerships.
If you are a procurement officer or accessibility lead within a public sector organisation and have specific questions about the accessibility of our website or any client-facing materials we provide, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist.
Alternative formats
If you need any information from our website — including case studies, technical overviews or policy documents — in an alternative format such as large print or plain text, please contact us and we will do our best to help. We aim to respond to such requests within 5 working days.
Browser and assistive technology support
Our website is designed to work with modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and should be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies including screen readers and keyboard navigation tools. If you experience a compatibility issue with a specific browser, device or assistive tool, please let us know so we can investigate.
